Proper framework conditions provide predictability for both companies and employees. This contributes to securing a dynamic business environment, that supports the development of a competitive private sector and creates sustainable growth.
We support local trade union, employers’ associations and business organizations in becoming better at influencing reforms towards more transparency, stability, and regulation of the labour market. This also applies to the formalization of the informal economy and better conditions for competitive business activities.
Together, the social partners can participate in decision-making processes and put pressure on governments that can lead to better framework conditions.
We support our partners' efforts to improve labor legislation and respect for fundamental human rights. This is done, inter alia, through regional and international networks and institutions such as the International Labor Organization (ILO).
